Why I’m doing this

Keep your mouth shut and your ears open

Over the past 10 years of my current 37 years on this planet, I have become more intrigued with certain interactions and values in life. In particular, I have become fascinated in how good relationships work. What makes us crave them? What are the benefits in a team environment? And what are the implications of not having these in personal and professional capacities?

I started this quest when I became responsible for a team in a professional environment while also learning how to be a parent as a new father at the time. All of what I currently know, and am certain, anything I learn in future, is due to the great mentors and relationships I have been fortunate to foster and nurture along the way. While the ideas and lessons I speak of in these posts are not original, I will endeavour to share stories in a manner that is interesting, congruent and valuable to you as the reader. I hope you find value in these stories that you can apply to your life. Take what is useful, leave what is not because at the end of the day it is you who is responsible for what you do.
